It seems like nothing at first, but when recorded and played backwards, Alex Hirsch (the creator of the show) tells you how to decode the episode. At the end of the theme song (*begins humming*) when the Gravity Falls title is displayed, there is a quiet whisper that plays just before the screen goes black. Gravity Falls is the story of what Alex wished would have happened while they were at their aunts so that they could have something to do. They spent summers bored out of their minds playing card games, while Alex researched things like Area 51 and the Illuminati to keep himself entertained.

While with their aunt … nothing would happen. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, let me sum it up for you! Alex Hirsch, (the creator of Gravity Falls) and his twin sister, Ariel, used to spend the summers with their aunt in Oregon. It kinda sucked, but it gave us the chance to feel like the actual Mystery Twins! Or, I suppose, at least Alex and Ariel Hirsch. Hellooo-ooo!
